Avinode Group is growing and now needs to expand with a Business Controller to the team in Gothenburg.
About the role
As a Business Controller at Avinode Group, you will work closely with the business and support department heads with financial data, analysis, and follow-up. You will drive the budget and forecasting process and ensure monthly closing and financial reporting. You will have many contact points both internally and externally and enjoy working close to the business. As a Business Controller, you will also continuously work to proactively improve and optimize processes. You will be part of the finance team and work closely with the CFO, to whom you will also report.
Key responsibilities
• Budget and forecasting work
• Profitability and cash flow analysis
• Ad-hoc analyses
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing through analysis and reporting
• Improve and develop reports and decision-making materials
Qualifications
You have a degree in business administration or other relevant post-secondary education and are proficient in English, both spoken and written. You have experience working with financial and business analysis, preferably from another SaaS company, and have a solid understanding of financial flows and financial analysis. You have excellent knowledge of Excel and are used to handling and analyzing large amounts of data. You have an interest in systems and working with continuous improvements. You are analytical and solution-oriented and enjoy solving problems and discovering trends. You have the ability to delve into details but also understand the bigger picture. You are a communicative team player who can explain financial information in a pedagogical way.
